bob has a vezina - 2Real
So does Jim Carey . Bryz was a finalist one year.
Not a knock on Bob. He's become the real deal in Columbus. |

Even if he was, it's hard for me to believe that the check he threw would have been a legal hit.
Coby is 6'5" around 220, Rino's about 5'11" probably around 190. That's a lot of force Rinaldo has to generate him to knock out a player of that size. Even if he got a good hit on a guy that size, it's more likely to effect him than the other player. That being said, Rino could have been moving full speed and Coby standing still.
But right now, I'm just speculating. - VladDrag
You should've started with that line. It would've saved me some reading.

I mean, here's the thing: If someone walked up to you and said "Player X got laid out by Player Y in practice today. Solve for Player Y."
Don't you come up with Zac Rinaldo? - AllInForFlyers

Why is Rinaldo even on this roadtrip?
His butt should be on the couch eating bon-bons and nowhere near my team.

I don't mind giving Bob credit for his short-season Vezina, but I prefer to wait to do it for the second after Mason gets credit for being the same caliber goaltender since then
*edit: Nationally, that is. Everyone around here knows that Mason is the truth out there |

Yeah, it's funny how similar Bob's number in Columbus are to Mason's in Philadelphia |

Mason's a monster, man -- I'm totally serious when I say I can count the number of bad goals I think he has let in on one hand since he has been a Flyer
That dual-shutout shootout loss against the Islanders earlier this season was one of the handful of best goalie performances I've ever seen |

yeah but its so easy to just pander to these once seemingly established things to the ignorant masses, rather than actually take the time to investigate or disseminate something new. |

And yet every radio personality in Philly is. The only show worth tuning into is Ray and Glen on Football on the weekends. - mayorofangrytown
That's because of Ray Didinger, not Macnow. Not a fan at all. |

I think it's lazy journalism for the so called "experts" to proclaim the Flyers haven't found their Goaltender. I'm pretty confident that if Mason is surrounded with a capable team, the Flyers can win the Cup with him. Hell they were 2 games away with Michael Leighton.
I'm starting to become a little concerned with durability. When healthy, I don't have any reservations about performance with Mason at all. |

Every station that covers an NFL team should hire a 70 year old with a dead squirrel on his head to rationalize why the team hasn't won in 50+ years. |

It's truly mind-numbing how lazy you have to be to not recognize how consistent Mason has been, and how good
You have to actively be lazy, just not even care about your profession, to not know |

Well, the narrative with the Flyers is they have poor goaltending. While this has been the case many times, it's not the case now. Not by a long shot. |
