I got tickets from Jim Slater of the jets for when Vancouver was in Winnipeg. My friend and I were calling Kane a bum all game every time he touched the puck. Mid-way through the second period Slater's wife says to us that Kane's gf is sitting right in front of us. Kane's gf turns around and we apologized and she said it's not a problem he was playing like a bum.

that's a big price for Buffalo to pay IMO. Myers>Bogo, and i'd rather have the collection of Stafford, armia, lemieux over Kane

I would rather go after Ebrele if he is truly available. Speed and scoring. I don't care that he is shorter. He is a true sniper.

That would not work. Sedins play possession and cycle to death and Kane plays speed crash and bang. Completely different styles of play. Although I think Kane with Bonino would revive Bones since Kane plays similar style to Perry and bone had a lot of success playing with him. I still would rather go after B Schenn or Grigorenko then Kane. Cost less and have far better upside.

The Jets are doing what any team would do in this situation, They are asking for a kings ransom and will take it if offered, If not then they just take the ransom, Or simply not trade him. They are in the drivers seat. I do think that they will trade Kane eventually.
But why would Vancouver even be considering giving up assets in the middle of a mini re-build? You guys have had a much better run this year then most had predicted in large part do to Millers play, And better coaching. But with injuries and Millers recent play things are what they are . Stay the course, accumulate assets,stock the cupboards, Develop players And make a push in a few years.

Oh! Now i remember where i had seen this before......... Didn't you guys have a goalie named- Oungie, longie, Loungo(thats it) That SOME (they no longer post here) thought would land a kings ransom as well?

I thin Kane compares more to Kesler, bad locker room guy, top 6 forward, similar contract. Difference is Kesler gave us 2 teams to deal with.

Winnipeg is laughing it up right now. According to this price we were no where near able to compete in the Kane sweeps.
