He was 31st pick last year. Averaging a little over a point per game for Barrie. Quite truculent as expected. - PhillySportsGuy

I get what you are saying.. I really do. Im just trying to look at the entire picture... not only including the Flyers "what if's" but the Habs as well.
Flyers had a bunch of really good chances (mostly earlier on), and it may have well been a different game if they cashed it a bit better, but thats a what if. The same can be said about the Habs.
Lets put it this way, had the Habs cashed in on a few more of their chances, and won the game 4-2, combined with how thoroughly they out played, we wouldnt even be discussing this.
Its kind of my point all season long. Flyers are not a very good team. HOWEVER, they can beat good teams. They just have to capitalize on their chances. They were out played in the 2nd period, and dominated in the 3rd and OT. They NEEDED to cash in. The Habs just need to keep plugging along. - jak521
You can look at the flip side of things all day long. The Habs dominated the puck, but had little to show for it until the scored a goal. If the Habs didn't cash in, they lose the game. I'm just looking at the circumstances of one game, rather then the process. If you're outplayed to that level, you're obviously going to lose the majority of games. I also beleive the Flyers are capable of playing much better then they did. |

Interesting trade for both teams, but Jets did really well in getting a roster forward back for an injured player
I don't watch Bogosian enough to have an opinion -- he has almost always been hurt when I have seen them play
Myers does have immense potential and has been pretty good the last few times I have seen him
Buffalo is just so bad, they are picking in the Top two no matter what they do or don't do |

Flyers should trade for a overpaid, under performing dman who is often injured? - Feanor
Nah. Just keep overpaying 4/5 guys. Strategy is working to perfection. |

One other thought, I'm really missing Raffl on that top line. Brayden Schenn is just not fitting in, and neither Giroux or Voracek has played well of late. - Jsaquella

Its humorous that Kane is dealt to one of the worst clubs in the NHL. Even if they may not be for long. Lets see if the grass is greener so to speak.. Don't let the cold icy door hit your ass on the way out. |

so to Buffalo:
Kane 37 GP 10-12-22
Bogosian 41 GP 3-10-13
Kasdor - RPI (ECAC) Junior - career 24-20-2 2.31
to Winnipeg
Myers 47 GP 4-9-13
Stafford 50 GP 9-15-24
LemieuX OHL - 46 GP 35-15-50 - career 153 GP - 68-49-117
Armia - AHL - 33 GP 10-15-25 - career - 87 GP 17-35-52 - 1 NHL game
First rounder belonging to St Louis or the Isles
Honestly I think Winnipeg did quite well.

Agreed. What is Buffalo trying to do here? They're not in the position to make this kind of trade yet |
