in other news, anyone upset the Flyers weren't willing to include Simmonds in a deal for the pick to get Ekblad at the draft? granted I don't know what else was involved in the potential trade. man Ekblad is good

I guess it depends on what happens with Sanheim.

The Flyers have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay bigger problems than not having Nash and the Rangers have a good team either way. Look at their defense, for one.

The rumor I heard was 2014 1st + Simmonds + Lecavalier +2015 1st. Hextall wanted the 2015 1st lottery protected and Florida refused, so the deal fell through.

I disagree. I think we tend to pick a bit more when guys are not scoring. If anything, he is trying a bit too much. He was at his best when he did his thing. Now he seems to be forcing things a bit. He looked good last night I thought. Just needs to stay at it.

Honestly, I think they need to get Schenn off that line ASAP. He seems to be a terrible fit there. No structure.

Hello fellow buzzers-- here's my random post/ question for the day--

Does anyone think voracek might be playing through and hiding some kind of injury? He doesn't look like he's skating as tenaciously or as hard as he was when he was racking up points left and right earlier in the season. He doesn't seem to have that same "vigor" in his movements, not backchecking as hard as he was earlier in the season. Just looks like he's skating a little softer than normal. Both him and Giroux are in a slump, but Giroux looks the same as far as his skating/ play go. Any thoughts?

I was thought something happened to Jake and was pretty sad until I saw him come out in the 2nd.

Not sure if he is hurt, I think other teams are concentrating on him a lot more.

I would need a roster player back too.

There was a Habs poster yesterday asking for him and OB replied with their two top prospects and their first, which was a ton.

I'd want Galchenyuk + a pick back in the deal or something equivalent.
