There was no Fowler for Myers deal.

While I won't agree so blindly, I do like seeing a solid guy in Yost posting about it so favorably for Buffalo

As this is a good stance for generally not being a sheep, Yost is brilliant.

My issue was that I felt Myers had more value than Bogs. I felt he was worth a young top 6 kid and at least a first. So that I don't like.

Kane for a 1st and Armia,Lemiux isn't all that bad. That's zero current NHLrs for Kane.

I'd like to get a 2nd back from them at least for Stafford. Personally I want there first and we give them are 2nd.

adding a former 4th overall pick whos already scored 30 and scored 20 with olli jokinen to a team with ristolainen, zadorov, reinhart and a 90% chance at either mcdavid or eichel = more scary than the 28th overall pick, joel armia (who i actually really like) and brandon (frank)ing lemieux

I view it as a terrifically ballsy play that has boom/bust potential. I was beginning to like it last night as I thought about it hard, and now all these additional moving pieces make it hard to analyze. But from beginning to like it to hearing Yost come in with "Tim Murray is stealing somebody's lunch money again" makes me say I'm down with the whole thing.

Your blogger mentioned it the other day and everyone here was like "Naaah we can do better. Murray will only deal Myers for an overpayment. Myers will bring back a top line forward, top prospect, and a 1st all on his own."

I think part of the reason we are freaking out is that we went through 17 years of inaction by Darcy.
