It think most feel we could have gotten more by doing seperate deals. Not much we can do now. Here's to hoping Kane skyrockets over the next few years.

What? Myers? Stafford? Underachieving Armia? Now I can feel the sting in losing Lemieux, one of our 3 1st round picks, the last one? You do have to give to get.

I love it, tough, talented top line winger. Upgrade top 2 D. Quality players.

Where was Murray when Bogosian was drafted? Did he "just miss out" on being able to grab him? Maybe he always coveted him, who knows. Does seem very linear to me

What a good trade. The D got more talented, mobile, and a bit more aggressive who can pass the puck more accurately.

There's no lost value there though. Who's to say they don't turn around and move Bogosian at some point?

I think Bogosian plays a game that Murray likes better. We needed a Dman that will clear the front of the crease for the goalies, and Bogosian will do that much more regularly than Myers did.

Or maybe he really likes bogosian who probably has around the same value we thought Myers had.

I think the Kane trade could've been made without Bogosian & Myers involved, so either they weren't happy with Bogosian (idk why that would be), or Murray thought it would be an upgrade over Myers

So Ottawa had no chance to get him
