this is a great trade for you guys IMO.

getting the best players in the deal and giving up guys like Meyers and Stafford is a win win.

You hope that that 1st round pick or either 2 of those prospects become a guy like Kane... realistically it probably wont happened. So you traded guys for a much better player who is still very young and you dont need to wait 2-3 years for those guys to start producing.

The same guy who called the trade last last (Buffalo1000 who called the Tallinder deal) also now adds that Lemieux is a cancer in his lockerroom just like Kane.



Whatever you think about the trade, the dude is going all in on this rumor.

IMO we had enough to get Kane without moving Myers.
