He's technically signed, It'd be cool if he was attached. If they have an ear on his agent saying he'd return if traded. One of their unsigned guys, could be a lot. B prospect from Juniors or NCAA guy.

I don't want Lemieux and Armia both involved in this trade.

Armia has done squat in the AHL, the only piece I'm going to miss is Lemieux. Thank God Myers is gone and is replaced by a better, more skilled D-man.

There may be more parts, I bet a draft pick coming back to Buffalo.

Why because Lemieux and Armia were destined for greatness. I trust Murray knows what he is doing.

not sure why sabres fans hate this deal.........i actually think you're kind of ripping the jets off.

you're getting the two best players in the deal........you're giving up an underachieving d-man, a UFA bottom six player, 2 decent prospects, and a late 1st (assuming no other assets are included).

you're getting two excellent players, both with term left and good cap hits, both under the age of 25, and both instantly become two of the best players on your roster.

you didn't have to give up any of your really good "can't miss" young guys........girgs, reinhardt, risto, zadorov

and the best part is that because kane doen't play til next year, it actually makes you worse right now, increasing your chances of getting mceichel.

buffalo wins this deal easily IMO.

Myers is not "underachieving.
He is what he is and that has been obvious for the last two seasons now.
A very inconsistent average defenseman.
I don't care one iota about losing Myers, not one.
I have a hard time with giving up both Armia and Lemieux.
That's my problem with this alleged deal.

Other teams fans see this as a great trade for Buffalo. Buffalo fans are up in arms because we didn't fleece them. LOL

I'm really not sure I want Kane in the locker room. This team isn't going to be great next year. It may take a few years before the Sabres even sniff the playoffs.
