We should claim him and shed some cap in a trade. Still a kid and can score. Would love to see him play with good players |

pp units on ice today:
1: Stepan, Nash, Brass, Zuke and McD.
2: Hayes, Kreider, MSL, Boyle and Girardi. |

Bruins supposedly making a push for Stewart but Buffalo turned down a 2nd+ a prospect. |

Actually, no. I think at this point you know what Kane is (or at least close to it). He has had 4 years in the league, and his average point/goal production says he is what it is. Can he improve on that? Of course. Can he be a PPG player? I don't think so.
Armia, Lemieux and a 1st. What if all three of those players turn out to be top 6 players (and at cheaper rates), then who has the higher ceiling in the deal? - Pete V
This is actually true. We will see. Can break a bunch of different ways. Going to take 2-3 years to find out. |

I am real curious to see what the Rangers are going to do, especially with the Hank uncertainty. Will it be sooner? Will be later? Will it be anything at all? |

BUF has cancelled practice for today. More trades believed to be happening. One would be a goalie to DAL IMO |

With Kane, I don't think he's played up to the level he's capable of the last few years due to injuries. He also wasn't playing with the most talented players which is his own fault due to his attitude but in the right situation with good ice time and quality PP time, I think you will see his production increase. |

Can Tablot play every single game while Hank is out? And to we trust this kid for the 1 or 2 games Tablot will need off? If not, do we acquire a cheap vet to spell with Talbot? |

All good questions. I have no idea whatsoever about Skapski, except he looks like he is 6 years old, and just seems awestruck. If it is just going to be another 10 games, play Talbot until he drops as far as I am concerned. If it may be more, than maybe a guy like Enroth would fit the bill, although really haven't watched much of him this year.

I think he's cost too much for the time we'd need him. I think other teams truly worried about goaltending as a whole will go after him.
As I said to my friend, Skapski just looks happy to be wearing an NHL jersey while his mom and dad take pictures from the stands |

Would you concede that Buffalo has a higher ceiling in this deal? Where you do not think it is worth the gamble but if it pays off it pays off huge? - mrhattrick27
I actually think WPG has the higher ceiling. Myers IMO has a much higher ceiling than Bogo... if he gets his game together he could be as dominating as Chara... big guys like that are very hard to come by... almost as hard as big power forwards(without head cases). |

Yea I kind of take back that thought. I guess all my recanted thoughts just go to show I am bigger on Evander Kane than most. Wasn't looking at the bigger picture. |

without pads?? maybe BUf's GM would take Glass for Stewart after seeing this trade. |

they should just pick him up... would cost a lot less than any other pick up. |

question, who you guys rather have playing 6th Dman - JMoore or Scott Hannan from SJS? Hannan only has a $1M cap hit. his game isnt sexy but i think it would be a slight upgrade over Moore. |

San Jose seems to be playing Hannan over 20 minutes a night, I am just not sure why they would get rid of him |
