I think a very underrated part of the trade is the salary flexibility The Jets gain from this. The Jets are a budget team that doesn't spend to the cap Bogossian is owed 22mil over the next for years Myers is owed 15.5mil over the same time. Add Kane's 18mil he's still owed The Jets traded 40mil for 15.5mil and some prospects. They have options, they can try to go after a bigger named UFA or maybe they can use some of their now very deep prospect pool to add another top 6 forward

Im so sick of people saying this is a DEEP draft. It IS NOT A DEEP draft. There are a solid 5-10 players, with the first 3 players being generational to franchise level players. People are posting this is the deepest draft since 03, which is just flat out wrong, the deepest draft since 03, was 2013, and this draft is not nearly as deep as 13.

For the record I know this, because it's what the experts and scouts say about it.

Remember being told by most of the Sabre fan base on here how stupid Snow was for using his pick last year for the 5th overall because a late first/early second in this draft is far better than anything out of the top 3 in the last draft. Funny how this changes depending on what kind of moves Murray makes. Oh man can't make this shat up

Isles fans getting their licks in after the vanek trade. Only fair, a lot of sabres fans acted like petulant children on the isles board right up till the start of the year.

Murray showed some balls, it might work, it might not. Gotta give him credit for going for it when everyone thinks he's wrong. Hopefully McDavid/Eichel and Reinhart make it work.
