This deal comes down to Armia, Lemieux, and the 1st and what they become. They meet expectations then it's a landslide in Winnipeg's favor. They don't then it's a win in Buffalo's favor. Right now it was a good hockey trade.

I got your point just think the comparison was misguided. Tavares was a great Jr player there is no question about it but to compare Tavares's 4 yr Jr career to the one yr Gretzky played in Jr's is way off.

That's crazy, he is one of the fastest skaters in the nhl, he has a fat face, people need to get over it. In the offseason if we could move the other first, along with Ennis, and a prospect or two for kessel, I'd be all over that.

But if it's something like Grigorenko, NYi 1st & a 2nd I'd have a hard time not making that deal... And I'm not a fan of Kessel
There's other guys out there is target
They might not be as dynamic, but I'd rather have a 25-30 goal guy that can play in all zones then a 40+ scorer that doesn't do much else

Again. Not comparing the players but the hype that Tavares had when he was drafted. He was labeled the "Next One". Of course he's not close to the player Gretzky is. The point was saying Tavares wasn't a defnitive number 1 selection that I did not agree with because he most definitely was.

Bogosian is going to be a solid 3/4 guy and if Armia Lemieux and 1st don't pan out the Sabres win this trade
