What you think of the trade?

It was a good not great hockey trade.

Murray moves 2 of the 3 last goal scorers for this team, moves his number one goalie for swiss cheese, and all but assured himself one of McEichel.

Bogosian can play 22 mins a night and as of the last couple of years is more suited for the role they were playing Myers in.

Kane while a risk is a risk worth taking and said well over a year ago that Kane would be a Sabre in the near future.

Both players were coveted by the Sabres brass, old and new.

We will know in 3 years who if anyone won the trade.

So if Kessel is now available, do you think we can take a run at that? Do we even want to?

What do you think the price is? 1st, 2nd and high prospect?

I've been there....Its good to watch bad teams do it the right way, good for the game. Look at what our last 5 years of drafting and a tweak with Boychuck, Leddy, Grabs and Kulemin, not to mention Halak. AND....how we helped you guys last year with all those draft picks

There are more valuable wingers (price to get him, cap hit, contract length) that are out there that could be had.

Kane and Toews just got 10MM per. Scoring wingers are going to get paid above Kessel soon.
