I'll tell ya , I am lost when thinking about who may be this teams number 1 goalie next season.
Neuvirth is not the answer even though Murray touts him now and that's only because he is "his guy".
IMO, Neuvirth won't be here next season being an UFA. Enroth outplayed him playing behind this poopty roster and look where that got him.
He is going to have to make a trade to attain a number 1 goalie for next years team because as I scrolled through the UFA list for goalies after this season, we don't want any of them.
I don't even know how to venture a guess at this one.

I'm assuming/hoping he's going after someone. We have a ton in the pipeline but no one is really rising to the top of the crop unfortunately. There's been rumblings about Neimei, who I watch probably about as much as I watch the sabres, and He's definitely capable if they land him.

Really haven't had time to think about the coaching staff moving forward? But listening to Nolan's interview here below, sounds like he knows he is gone!

I think if Neuvirth can get into a rhythm and stay healthy, he'll be more than sufficient. I wouldn't panic yet.

I am not any sort of insider, but if this was the plan it seems like they have set Nolan up to be paid regardless.

If this does end up ringing true its a huge mistake.

Not just that, but it makes Murray and Pegula look like some pretty huge douchebags.

Hire a guy so he can take the fall, while the guy that orchestrated putting this poopty roster together with all of his wasted moves this past summer that Teddy has been forced to coach is let go?

Yea, I just am not sure what to make of this entire ordeal.

I mean if Nolan is just let go, it's just wrong man, just wrong.
You have to give the man a chance to succeed with a better roster.
If he doesn't next year, then you hand him his pink slip but not until the man is given an honest shot.
If he were to fail next season with a better roster I would certainly be behind his dismissal.

I would not wish what he has been through on any coach, and I don't care about the money because money means nothing to me ya know?
