It was posted today that he wasn't signing here according to Tim Chassion, I don't care that they moved him, Darcy " no balls " wouldn't have done this deal. Good to see a hockey trade here for once.

Agreed. There are some parts of it that I would have preferred had turned out differently, but I don't hate it overall. I'm excited for something different than we've seen for the last few years. Whether or not it ends up being better is still yet to be seen, but at least it's something new to look forward to for now.

I think for the most part our D is going to be very similar between pairing 1 and 2. There will be a decent skill drop to the 5/6 pairing. I think that's actually where Gorges ends up when all is said and done. He'll be a 5/6.
