I am more interested as to why you guys traded Enroth? I thought he was the right age for a rebuilding team and your goalie of the future. Is there a younger goalie in the pipeline that will eventually be your #1?

Murray likes bigger goalies and Enroth is 2nd smallest. He still could resign here if he wanted to this summer. And to get something for a player so he does not walk for nothing.

We are at the point in the rebuild that if he does not see a player here and is UFA, he should be moved, if you can get something. If you can move up by piling up picks to get there, any spots earlier is better. So keep them moving to keep better picks coming. We have too many picks now, so he basically has to do that, at some point.

Fans like him and he has been our best player. UFA after this year. Also, Murray made it known he wants a large goalie.

According to Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News, the Sabres will reportedly pursue Luke Richardson for their head coaching job.

Ted Nolan hasn't been fired yet, but it's expected that he will be and the current head coach of the Binghamton Senators could be his replacement. Nolan probably won't be let go until after the 2014-15 campaign.

Didn't one of the insiders post something a couple of weeks ago about Nolan being a mess? I don't remember the particulars. I don't think anyone would be surprised if he was let go after this year (whether he deserved it or not).

He is on the hook for 6 more seasons and we do have some cap room to make that work. I would consider it, but it would depend on the package required.
