Hard to ignore when there every 3rd post is yours all day long. I am convinced you post just to fire everyone one up on here - metzeric

That is not a bad point at all.
I would rather have the center, but the thinking could change. - rmiethaner
If we don't get one of two centres, this year would really become painful. |

I heard a Canadian media guy interviewed yesterday saying how TM pulled a rabbit out of his hat with that Miller trade last year because the goalie trade market has been so bare for awhile and obviously couldn't do it again with Enroth. When you think about Miller being a UFA goalie and getting that package, he did pretty well. - GilPerreault11
He turned Miller into Halak, Carrier and a 1st we will say Stewart and a 3rd was for Ott
Turned Halak in Neuvirth who is still with the team and I think he will be resigned
But he hasn't done anything yet... |

Oh, there's no doubt that Eichel or McDavid are the prize, but if you don't pick 1st or 2nd, and Hanifin is that much better than whoever #4 is, picking him does end up filling a void. |

Weren't you the one ripping on myself and a couple others for "always being on here" and supposedly not having jobs? |

The one indirect effect this Kane trade has is that if the Sabres somehow God forbid fall to 3rd, taking Hanifin doesn't seem like as much of a waste. - buffalofan19
This is true god forbid.
But hopefully it does not happen |

It would be depressing to say the least. |

Actually, I'm liking this trade a lot. Just wondering why Lemieux wouldn't sign here, when every other team passed him up. You'd think a newly rebuilt team would be perfect for him. - sippyd
I'm guessing he just wanted more money.

Hanifin isn't in Buttons new top 5. |

I agree, and why I was ecstatic when Enroth was dealt yesterday. Just lose, finish 30th and get one of the two centers and this year will have been worth it.

I lay myself off for 3 months during the winter, voluntarily.

I agree.
I edited my post saying that the Sabres do not have the goaltending to adjust to being a defensive team. |

Button is hockey's Mel Kiper. He's on TV for show, not for accuracy. |

I hate Button and think he's an idiot. Was just posting his new placement for Hanifin. |

Myers is hurt the first game after he got traded and we're still arguing Darcy v Murray? Not what I expected.
Darcy had 15 years. Murray has had 2. Nothing we can do but watch this play out. |

It won't happen. Sabres are 3 games behind Edmonton for 29th. All they have to do is win 3 less than them and we're golden. 27 games left, season is in our hands now. |

Murray has had a year and a half and has spent most of his time rebuilding what Darcy destroyed, the rest of his time trying to figure out what to do with a coach that has no business being in the league anymore.
Myers was back on the ice at the end of the game...not sure if he was testing it or what but it looked painful that's for sure. |

Good. Kid gets a fresh start and would really suck if that was derailed that fast. |

One person is attacking Murray, there seems to be one on every site that adores Darcy and hates Murray for whatever reason. Sort of like there is always someone who worships the devil. |
