One's blood pressure should not go up reading posts on a hockey internet msg board.
But, tonight it did. - grand-magus
Mine didn't.
All in how you ingest it.
I'm as passionate about defending people like Nolan (in his situation) like some here defended Myers.
If I had felt you were being wronged (in a real life scenario) I would come to you or anyone else's defense as well, it's who I am.
It's really as simple as that.
Whomever does not want to engage me in the Nolan/Murray talk doesn't have to.
There is no gun being held to anyone's head here.
Everyone is passionate about something in life (have their favorite player or coach), me. I am passionate about everything in my life period, so that is what you get here.
The only thing I can say and try to say it respectfully is, if you don't like my posts, do what many claim they were doing previous.
When you see my avatar simply keep on scrolling.
To summarize, don't allow me (or my posts) to raise your blood pressure.
Simply don't read them.
I can't help my passion and I will never change that for anyone.
And you or anyone else can call me otherwise or whatever you wish after this post.
Truth being, you just don't know me and I know a lot of you will say "thank God for that".
So I hope I saved some of you your punch lines.
Enjoy your Sabres , it seems to be our one piece of common ground.

Trades, no trades............. whatever.... I only hope this Sabres team becomes a team that plays competitively, win or lose, every night. I can't stand to watch this team right now. They make me puke....

My guess is the only reason Nolan is still here is because TM and TPeg didn't want to deal with the typical Buffalo fans outrage about bringing him here for 3 months and send him packing. You know the same people who were outraged at the Tim Kennedy waiving.
It seems pretty clear to me that Lafontaine (who was a player that I adored mind you) lost his freaking mind somewhere between concussion 5 and 8. It's sad that it happened but bringing Ted Nolan? Buffalo19 called it back when it happened it was purely a PR move.
Nobody expected this team to be this bad this year and to make matters worse the younger players aren't improving. Nolan is a disaster of a hire and I will admit I drank some of the Kool-Aid when he was hired but boy was I wrong. - Stripes77
I never drank to kool-aid. I believe it was myself and Sbroads who hated it from the start.

I can see it now... The Sabres draft McDavid and send him to the minors for 3 years then proclaim he is a bust...... It is just how the Sabres operate....

Connor McDavid can't go to the minors next year. It's either the NHL or Juniors. He'll be with the Sabres (if they get him).

(shrug) look away for another few weeks. After that life will be good again.

I see WPG also thinks Myers is a #3 or #4 Dman like you do.

I wonder why his winning % is under .500 .
It wasn't before he walked into this mess last year.
That stat is not even fair but I understand its what you people that dislike Nolan have as ammo.
You can't use "he's not an X's and O's coach" any longer because Paul Hamilton shot that fallacy down the other day.
So, it's what you have, I understand but it's not fair at all to Ted the way you are manipulating his coaching totals when you include the past 2 seasons with this roster.
Again, before he walked into this mess he had a winning %.
Let me ask you this question, do you think Jacques Demers was a good coach?
edit: I should have prefaced by stating that you can't go googling Demers.
Can't wait for your reply.
