I would love a third line of Foligno, Larsson and Flynn for 10 games

Flynn has been a turnover machine lately. He's regressing, not progressing.

Are there any other teams losing their goalies this year to UFA status or are we the only team that needs to sign goalies?

I do watch and he stinks, 2.50 gaa for a back up

We don't need to spend 5-6 mill a year on a goalie, why bother with Neimi ? he hasn't done a damn thing in San Jose.

He couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, how many times has he missed in the 3 games. Put him with Hodgson, i'm sure that will help. I hate Hodgson but scratching him and playing Ellis is mind boggling.

Not sure I get the people that say they are not worried about the goalie situation. If we want to start getting better next year then we need to address that position. We currently have 2 borderline backup goal tenders and I'm am not confident in any goalie prospect we have in the system. Ullmark has had a Really bad year ("but he was on a bad team"-I know), makarov and Hackett are not starters. So whether we trade for one or sign one, It's something we need to address asap.

For the short term absolutely. This will bide some time till Ullmark and/or Petersen would be ready.

Greiss is getting heavily criticized this year. People thought he would outplay MAF

I like Ullmark's chances when he gets over here. MODO is crap this year and his stats have improved as the season has gone along. He had a 2.08 and .931 in 35 games with MODO last season.

Petersen has been having a good year for ND as a freshman from what I've heard. He's got a 112 minute shutout streak going right now.

I think they'll be better next year just because i can't see it getting any worse. If by better you mean playoffs I think that's a pipe dream anyways and they'd need to address so many other things before they got to that. A good team in front of an okay goalie is usually enough to get you in.

If they really are dead set on getting a goalie this year via trade, Enroth went for a conditional 3rd Im sure they could find someone who can get the job done along side Neuvirth.

Nolan mentioned something about Hodgson replacing Stafford, playing on the 2nd line because he needs to be playing with better players.

I'm fairly certain you know enough about me to know that I watch A LOT of games. Maybe you should learn to verbalize why you don't like a guy other than to say "he stinks". That's your MO.

See my location. This is exactly why I put that there awhile back. Because any time any player gets mentioned your automatic reaction is "They stink."

I'm as concerned about the goaltending situation for next year as well. They'll need to find two quality netminders. Down the road we seem ok within the goalie prospect pool. I think Hackett and Makarov won't do much.
