I like Ullmark's chances when he gets over here. MODO is crap this year and his stats have improved as the season has gone along. He had a 2.08 and .931 in 35 games with MODO last season.

Greiss played really well for Arizona last year. Maybe he's just not fitting in well in Pittsburgh or they asked him to change the way he's doing something. There's a ton of reasons that he may not be performing as well as we've seen in the past.

nyways and they'd need to address so many other things before they got to that. A good team in front of an okay goalie is usually enough to get you in.

If they really are dead set on getting a goalie this year via trade, Enroth went for a conditional 3rd Im sure they could find someone who can get the job done along side Neuvirth.

No. That's not what i meant at all. I said "start getting better" not playoffs. I also disagree that they need to address many others things before goaltending. Players can easily be added via trade/draft. Goaltenders take years and years to develope and quality goaltenders are even harder to find via trade. I hope we can swing a trade for a young goaltender that is semi close to entering the nhl

To be fair what other teams has he been on? Not exactly helping him out in the D-Zone if you know what I mean.

I am not counting his 2 starts in Nashville either but he has played for 2 other lottery teams...

I never thought that Dubnyk was the issue in Edmonton, and with the way things have worked out there after the moved on from him, it just continues to prove my point. Is he a great goalie? No. But he's sufficient enough behind a competent team.

He had 6 goals scored on him today...he will go from one crappy team to another. On top of that he will be transitioning to NA. Not sure if I expect him to be better. For our sake I hope so

I'm interested to see if having Bogosian back there will clear a bit of space in front of the net for the goalies. There's been an awful lot of traffic in that area which makes things very difficult for the goalie.

So they are in that 10% I guess? I think you are semi right but I wouldn't say 90 % of goalies are just plug and play.
