Read the article. Bogo doesnt think the game well either. This notion we got a better defensemen in his own end is not true - sbroads24

I will write a professional article on Jordan Samuels-Thomas. Once I post it, 500 people will think he can compete for the sabres third line next season.
I listen to what the analysts for the Jets said. I have listened to what NHL "experts" have said. I will make my opinion 20 games into the 15-16 season as I have only watched a handful of Jets games over the last 3 years,
Good deal for WPG. There is a reason they didnt wait on moving Kane to the deadline or draft. They got an offer they couldnt refuse - sbroads24
Murray has liked Kane for while. I wonder if that was the idea, make him an offer he can't refuse now so that we don't miss out when more suitors become available on draft day?
He posted a picture after the trade that said he calls himself a Buffalonian. So it's a possibility I guess. For all we know, Murray had a talk with him before the trade and let him know he's welcome back. Moulson came back last summer, so it's not like it couldn't happen. - HonkFortheGoose
It wouldn't shock me if Murray went after Dubnyk. He is exactly the kind of guy he seems to like. Wouldn't be my preference but who knows, maybe he can become the goalie people thought he would be when drafted.

Bogo for Myers is a wash at this point. Both players never lived up to expectations for their teams. Are you saying you wouldn't have given up Stafford, Armia, Blues 1st, and Sabres 2nd rounder for Kane last summer? Thats great deal for a 1st line winger! - Cheeseballin
Even if Myers Bogo end up a wash. No I wouldnt have traded those four for Kane

Fair enough, but I think in a year we are going to be upset. Armia is a good.player.
Chevy was interviewed the other night and he said a lot of scouts were really excited about him
3) Phil Kessel to Sabres for Hudson Fasching, Jake McCabe and a 2nd-round pick
Whaddya say, Tim Murray?
The Sabres don't need to admit it, but they're planning to have Connor McDavid be the face of their organization for the next decade. Now whether that comes to fruition remains, but wouldn't his presence be a perfect situation for Kessel?
With the acquisition of Evander Kane, the Sabres made their intent to contend clear the moment they place a ball cap on either McDavid or (heaven forbid) Jack Eichel and will undoubtedly be better equipped to contend with Kessel on the roster. He will score his goals and avoid media scorn without mortgaging the franchise, who sit well beneath the salary cap.
Now, the return is hardly bountiful, but for the Maple Leafs who - in planning to set themselves on fire - have decided they can't win with him, the reward isn't the personnel; it's having Kessel and his $64-million contract move on.
Fasching and McCabe are two intriguing prospects who have represented the United States at the World Juniors, with the latter likely ready to take the leap. And the pick, obviously, is just one slot away from the first round. - homiedclown
I'd be more sad to see McCabe go than myers. He is my favorite prospect we have atm. Zardorov(sp) not far behind.

We can't keep every prospect we have. Not enough contracts to go around. We could be Edmonton and stand pat. That works out well... - Cheeseballin
I said this the other day. Murray came right out and said last year that there's only so much room and that guys would be packaged together to acquire NHL ready talent. I'm not sure why this trade came as such a big surprise to everyone given that statement.
Go Back and read what people said about Kane here a week ago. Its hilarious - sbroads24
Agreed there's plenty of rationalizing going on but it's not all on buffalo fans. Canadian media had no idea who Armia was until this trade now they're suddenly experts on their new messiah.
Both sides are risking something here, perhaps one more than other but WPG's got something to lose here as well.
jet fans are downplaying Bogo, hyping Myers, Armia and Lemieux
sabres fans are downplaying Armia, Lemieux, Myers and hyping Kane and Bog
we will know a bit more come November - homiedclown
Said it once already but after all of this Im desperately hoping Kasdorf turns out to be the gem in this deal just so i can look back on the posts/media/tv this week and laugh my ass off
