Unless he plays 7 more games of 30 mins or more. - dadeadhead
I think they'll finish the season with Neuvirth and Lindback. And who knows what they think of Hackett.

Eriksson hasn't been a top line forward since 2012
2012-2013 29 pts 48 gp
2013-2014 37 pts 61 gp
2014-2015 31 pts 54 gp
He'll be 30 next year and though i hate to say it of any player, he's one solid hit away from being in serious trouble. - Sabresfan-365
Boston also plays a style that doesn't suit his style of play. Honestly when they got him, I was a tad puzzled as to why. I mean I get they had to give up someone to get Seguin but Eriksson doesn't fit the Boston winger mold. |

I think we know what they and the other 29 teams that passed on him think of him. |

Think I saw Hackett look to have some promise about 10 minutes. Not real sure , but what I remember. Usually a drinking night when he is in net. |

Now you're mixing posts. In my original post I said that you would have to sub Risto or Reinhart into that proposal for Edmonton to not laugh in your face. If I could trade a couple of second line forwards (Ennis, Gringo) and a second pairing D (Pysyk) I'd make that all day long if we had to only add in some other medium-worth pieces. - Slump Buster
We just traded so many pieces, and while I'm happy with the trade, I think if we're trading 3-4 more, I'd be worried that were depleting our depth in our system.

He didn't play all that well in his final year in dallas either. He'll be 30 this summer, I don't think he's much of fit here either.
If Murray wants to be big/tough to play against Eriksson probably isn't on his list. |

If the Leafs really want to fast-track their rebuild they should offer to eat 2 to 3 mill a year on Kessel's contract. That would open him up to another teams that don't have cap room or (rightly) don't want to pay him 8 mill a year. |

I think he (like Nolan) was a placeholder during this mess. I was a little surprised that he got a no-trade clause. |

Yeah, as crazy as that sounds.
1) We had to spend some money
2) We had to get *someone* that might be able to put the puck in the net in the short term |

How did Hasek 1st back up Tom Barrasso when Barrasso had been traded to Pittsburgh on 11/12/88?
I think you meant Darren Puppa.
