Let Enroth stay gone now that he is, I doubt they go into next year with a rookie backup. - SABRES 89
Too inconsistant for my liking . |

He is interested in bringing back Enroth and will be with Stewart too. That being said though it'll be an interesting time for Neuvy. If he can't be a starter I see Hackett potentially coming up or a trade or FA are options too of course
I think we'll be better next year but playoffs are lofty. Maybe a year or two after we can think more about that with better players in the lineup. All really depends who we target in FA. Eichel is our guy at draft most likely. D is good enough to bring up kids slowly like Pysyk and then later McCabe and Ruhwedel. I don't think Subban is here although that'd be great - Beezer33
i am coming around on stewart.. at first i didn't really want much to do with him. But if he can be had at a decent contract i would welcome him back |

I threw Brad Richards out there last night.
He is going to put up over 40 points this year and good on the dot
Foligno, Richards, Gringo for the 3rd line?
Looking at a plan C if they do not get that RW and move Girgens or Reinhart to the wing. We are almost at the point where we can Put Girgens on that second line for the rebuild instead of the 3rd line. - homiedclown
Who plays center on what line (ex: Grigs, Girgensons, Reinhart, etc) will be be determined by new coach. We shall see who is available. I know one guy the whole league would want and sabres would look like a great landing spot with deep pocket owners. I'll give you a hint...its Mike Babcock haha |

We can do better then Enroth, I figured maybe they offered him a deal before but they didn't so let him stay gone. Time to move on. |

He wants a longer term deal. I'd say four years is kinda high on him. I'd go three years 19 mil and tell him to take it |

i can understand him wanting longer term.. he is probably looking for stability. I bet a NTC for the first 2 years of a three year contract could go a long way for him |

I think they are more likely to go into the season with a rookie in year 1 then year 2 |

If they decide to bring in a rookie as a backup it will be with a proven starter in front of him and Enroth is not that. |

Probably, market for UFA goalies is so thin this off season |

If I were him i would get out of Detroit now. That team is ready to take a nose dive. Their plan is no longer sustainable (IE being the only team to scout Zett/Datsyuk)
Buffalo would be a perfect spot for him, IMO of course. |

I heard a little rumble of the Ducks may have an interest in Stewart with Beleskey being out, I don't know how good of a fit that is. |

Half the league wants Stewart so it's not crazy. Sabres need a G and at least one D to make sure we don't Rush all prospects. Pysyk is only one we need up.
SJS pushing for Stalock in net so maybe sabres go after Niemi
FA Targets: Beauchmeiu, Green, Z. Michalek, Joel Ward, Justin Williams, Niemi etc |

26 of his 30 points has come while on a line with either Kane or Hossa. Not so sure that's a sign that he's a true 40 point guy anymore |
