Just sitting down to eat a stuffed pork chop prior to work and a fat juicy steak will be my at work meal.

That's an odd thing to eat at your desk.

I am not making an excuse, just saying that being on the worst team and having term left on your deal is slowing their current motivation. Would you perform differently if you knew your money was guaranteed for 5 more years and your work wants to fail this year?

I cant say one way or another because i am not them. Bad example but i have come home from bar league roller hockey with welts, bruises and a deep bone bruise on my foot one time which put me on crutches for over a week. Blocking shots i dont get paid to block.

Its not an excuse, but to me a vacuum of it is what it is and more often than not the team looks like they are disinterested.

I know most in here are over Cody Hodgson, but am I the only one who thinks he would be better on our top line than Tori freakin Mitchell? Does it really matter if he is defensively soft at this point?

Moulson-Mitchell-Gionta is now the top line?

But yes, I agree that Hodgson should be playing with better skilled players, but he hasn't exactly been kept from them all season and he's still played very poorly.

I believe it was the top line for last night's game. At least it was the line displayed first on the NBCSports broadcast.

Meh, I imagine the Stewart-Girgensons-Ennis line was the "true" top line (I think it was them who were together?)

"It was taken on Oct. 28, 2014, as the Jets left the locker room at Nassau Coliseum"

Exactly like someone stated last night.

I am saying if at your current job, they just ask you to show up for guaranteed money for the next 5 years, while paying you millions of dollars and the company goal is to not meet your compitions output, do you still go all out?

You play hockey hard in a bar league because you rarely play and love it. Do you do the same at your current day job? I used to go all in playing hockey, but now I want to walk the next day cause I need to support my family and I want my body to last in 20 years (especially since I don't get paid to do so).

Hockey is not my day job, context here. I am posting on HB and getting paid for it. That should say everything it needs to.

Yes, he has a disregard for that entire aspect of the game. He also can't muscle guys off of pucks, isn't skilled enough to deke anyone and generally won't put himself in harms way for the sake of winning.

Actually it's perfect management material.

Get paid the big bucks and delegate your work to others.....

I received the employee of the quarter last month so I guess the trips to the jeep to smoke and 5 hours of watching tv on the job is paying off for me, also got an outstanding review/raise (they rarely give them out)

Bottom line, slack more, make no waves and slip through the cracks
