Habs could use a guy like Kessel . I really wouldn't want to commit to that big of a contract. Our players if they turn out will be requiring some big money.

But a 30 goal scorer is pretty enticing. But with all the food we have here . it could back fire.

89 I normally love your position on things...but, if you remember at the beginning of this season, may fans on this site had the team pegged for 25th or higher...certainly not at the top of the league by any stretch, but much, much better than this historically p-poor performance...many had them improving by 10 - 15 points.

Georges, Gionta & Stewart are all just average, secondary players at this point
Expecting them to boost our scoring was crazy.
And thinking there wouldn't be a drop off in goaltending was also crazy IMO
This team was destined to be terrible
And we aren't going to be drastically improved next year either
Although we are getting a good amount of talent injected into the lineup, it's still gonna take time for these guys to learn how to be pros
And goaltending (as of now) is still a big question
