For those of us that aren't big fans of bringing Kessel in, how does this one work? Hodgson and a first for Kessel. I'm still leaning towards buying out Hodgson instead and using the money elsewhere.

Not many have the room or balls to take that on. We do. But I hope they don't . If it does happen. I would be worried 3 yrs from now on who too dump. 30 goal scorers are tough to come by. Rather chance on us having one in the farm.

That's the thing - I don't consider Hodgson a positive in the deal. He just makes the contract easier to swallow instead of paying Hodgson 800k a year for the next 8 years not to play here.
