I hear ya Irish. In my view the only trades Murray will make at the deadline are moving out some of his rentals. I just don't see some of these teams trading their really good goalie prospects, they'd be crazy.

I'm not crazy about trading for Kessel or ROR. ROR is a big risk because he'll be a UFA. I'd rather go hard after him then. I just don't see a Buff/Tor trade regarding Kessel.

Murray will make some major noise at the draft.

He'll be 29, not that expensive for his production and more importantly his label as a D liability is grossly over exaggerated. He's no brick wall but he's not Meszaros or Benoit back there. Unless he's asking for north of 6.5 and 6 or more years it's not a bad investment.

Gives you the ability to package one of the other prospects for a game changer forward.

I like the moves! Especially the cap strapped teams aspect...should be able to get some value there.

So, 11 shots after 2 periods..the under 20 bet is looking strong.
Question is do they hold the Rangers to less than 5 goals.

exploiting the cap jailed teams is fine but they have to be careful not to put themselves in a position of weakness either. They've got space now but if the core of young players become as good as we think we'll need that space over the next few years.

The whole idea of making a trade with a cap strapped team should be interesting. If the cap doesn't go up next year, teams like Boston, Chicago, Philly and LA might be willing to move some players.

Having Reinhart in Rochester next year will be great for his development.

If they move Meszaros they should call up Pysyk. If Stewart or Mitchell go, they could call up Grigorenko, if he's healthy. Or call up Varone.

I think Pysyk and Grigs will be up. Hackett might be as well to get him RFA status. I think McCabe could do with a little more time in Rochester.

The Bruins are down 3-1 right now. If they lose Florida can pass them into 8th tomorrow against the Sens.
