Honestly?
Not a chance in hell.
They have ruined the "outdoor game" the "Winter Classic".
I will never watch a west coast team in an outdoor ICE hockey game.
It does not compute.
They need to stick to 1 outdoor game per year.

IMO, they ruined the Winter Classic by having the same 4 teams in it every year since the first one, which, all homerism (being a Sabres fan) aside, is still the best one, by a long shot and its not even close to being close. The Ralph, the snow and an overtime/shootout game where the NHL's poster boy scores the GWG? That was beyond classic.

But I might check this one out because of the fact its west coast vs. west coast and in San Jose, because I haven't watched any of the Stadium Series games so far. That being said, I'll probably forget its on and not watch it and not even care about the outcome.

If anything his trade value just went down. I expected at least 3 GA but I also expected him to play the whole game and face about 25 SOG minimum.

Murray did trade Halak and a 3rd last year for him, so one would think he would want at least a 3rd, but most likely more. Then again, if he does not want to resign, he would take the best offer.

A GM would have to be an absolute fool to judge one performance by a 20 year old in the NHL. Goalies don't come around usually until their mid 20's. I personally highly doubt any GM is judging the kid any differently. He's clearly not ready yet, AND, the Bruins are a train wreck in the back end.

Judging by what some regulars have been saying about him since the start of the season up until the trade, I say that isn't true but I think the trade was a little in WPG's favour. A little.

Hes been their best defensemen. He had 5 shots last night and they got killed by WSH. He will be a 40-50 point player most likely

I should have been more clear. I think if Boston was in fact, trying to "showcase" him tonight, they kind of effed themselves over not because the player's worth, but what they might have been expecting to get for him, if he indeed was/is on the block, is now lower albeit slightly, than it was before.
