Briere and Stewart are unnecessary. Also I think rhd's hold more value. Would probably take Pysyk instead of McCabe.

So if that is the case, I would prefer not to make a move on him until then, meaning it would likely be next year's first that would be involved - perhaps of more interest to Colorado anyway.

It's weird to me that he hadn't worked out a deal to stay in Detroit yet. I can't imagine him leaving, BC they're still a top team w/ lot of young talent... But I do wonder what the holdup is on re-signing there?
