the problem is we will have 2 unproven top 2 centers, and girgens (who knows if he ends up second line center, second line wing or third line center)


I want a creative offensive coach that rolls 3 lines next season, but to do that we need to be a faster team as well

I know he hasn't played in the nhl yet but calling Eichel or McDavid an unproven centre is no different than calling Mackinnon an un proven centre in his draft year. It's technically true and yet nobody actually believes that.

my guess is if they got ROR then reinhart moves to the wing or ROR moves to the wing


then again until we secure a top 2 pick in the draft, it's all speculation

IMO I think it's the how fast it's happing is what's getting to me, nothing is set in stone that ROR will be a Sabre but if Murray wants him he will get him for the right deal.

They might, but I think the smart money's on McEichel being a centre for his entire career.

I'm sorry but I'd rather just get Kessel than Rawrzathon and I don't even want Kessel that much. No'Reilly is not an impact player. He feeds on the success of others and has a solid 2 way game and quality faceoff game. Even slightly overpaying for his services would be an absolute joke.

I think the idea is that the shelves will be re-stocked at this year's draft. As of right now, we have 2 1st Rounders and 3 2nd Rounders this year.

Actually right now we only have 2 second rounders, but Stewart should change that (if not a first or part of larger trade for proven nhl player).

for the rebuild, IMO you need speed, pk, pp abilities


when this rebuild is done, I fully expect moulson to be a third liner, second team pp and gionta to be playing 12-14 minutes per game, not 21

From what i'm reading, people will give up more for Kessel then ROR and I agree with that.
