I wonder how this Big Z problem will play out, does Murray listen to Nolan if Nolan thinks there is a problem and move him ? or do they send big Z down and let him work out his problems in the AHL. Can they send him down?

He can only be sent down if it is a conditioning assignment. Which isn't easy to get past the NHL.

Just flatly thinking Wideman wasn't an NHL caliber defenseman and letting him walk for nothing is his biggest blunder. He couldn't have helped at all in 05/06.

Hes been a solid Dman with the Avs, but now he is getting to that age of broken down and needs to play 3rd pairing minutes. Avs have too many of those guys under contract to play bottom minutes, need another Top 4 LHS to play with EJ

We have all that we can move but, the top 4 D man we traded away already.

Barrie doesn't go anywhere, but Pickard, Hishon, Siemens in the right deal.
I think only Bleakley and Bigras are the only 2 untouchable non roster players

The AVS will take Hodgson and like it!
