IMO what they do with Joey Hishon hinges on if Gringo is in a deal.

Hes been a solid Dman with the Avs, but now he is getting to that age of broken down and needs to play 3rd pairing minutes. Avs have too many of those guys under contract to play bottom minutes, need another Top 4 LHS to play with EJ

Hish has been playing really well in the AHL this season, finally healthy. I would love to see him fight for a 3rd line C role next season but if he is used in a deal for D help. Thats the ideal move instead of moving ROR in a blockbuster

Usually ability equates to better numbers and vice versa.

My point is that Forsberg didn't tear up the AHL. He came out of nowhere this season on a stable team and is looking great.

Siemens plays a mean game. Good PK and solid depth guy. IM sure in a few years being on a 2nd pairing shut down role (adam foote style) won't hurt you.

I have a bad feeling about this game. preds played yesterday and they do not look that great. Our PK is suddenly competent, and the D looks much better with Pysyk and McCabe.

Hes a nice piece to add but Avs have a lot of Dmen as that same development stage as him. He doesn't transform that Dcore by adding him to the roster

This team isn't going to finish last with this goaltending. They are in every game and fluke plays like we just saw steal us games and points we don't deserve. I hate this crap.
