I think that line would beat up on a lot of other 3rd lines. But the question is, who fills out the top 6? I dont personally see mcEichel stepping in to a NHL uniform and playing 1st line minutes against crosby or P. Kane....Tavares. That leaves Rinehart to play top line duties......not sure he's ready for that responsibility either. The last thing i want to see the Sabres become is Edmonton East.

They would likely mix and match veterans among the top 9 next year but 2 & 3 years down the road is when Moulson Girgensons Ennis as the 3rd line would mean a very good top 2 lines. I'd still hope for Moulson to be gone because a young guy they drafted is playing so well that he's on the 3rd line in Moulson's place.

just saw seedy's post so i'll respond here:


That line should be designed to beat up a lot of other teams 1st lines. I understand a 3rd line with that much skill will be tough to stop offensively, but you'd ideally want two wingers on that line who can chip in offensively but most importantly contain the other teams top line.

WTF don't they have field-level seating for these outdoor games? If this really is a cash-cow, people would pay with their first born's virginity to sit rink-side at an outdoor game. If they can make-shift a rink, they can make-shift field-level seating.
