Lums is a good owner, usually sets his lineup. An off day or 2 every month is no biggie in a free league.

I've been supportive of Kassian and wanted to see him play more lately etc etc but it cannot be denied his best hockey of the season has been during this period of tough love from the coach.

It's time to stop sniveling about how WD is holding Kassian down. You guys would seriously be happier with the coach just leaving him in the irrelevant rut he was in and hope he plays his way out himself?

In a nutshell, Kassian being invisible for months was more frustrating than seeing him scratched after one or two poor showings in recent weeks.

Fair enough, I trust WD as well, even if I don't understand some of the choices. It sounded to me you were attributing kassian's success to WD, which I disagreed with. He deserves credit for the way he is playing right now.

So? It's not just age. Kassian has been in NHL games in 4 seasons now, is nowhere near a rookie and has a much higher value at full potential than those two. It's not the exact situation that deserves identical treatment across the board. That's the point that gets ignored over and over here.
