But I still don't understand the consensus on the Lou trade. We got rid of a mouthpiece/attitude based choker that had lost the starting job twice in two seasons to goalies that really weren't better than him overall. Plus watching him play to get traded his final two seasons here was laughable.

Matthias has been a bonus and trade or resign we have done well there and Markstrom has the ability to be a no.1 here.

I think Markstrom will be a good quality Backup for the next 2 years and will work his way to a starting job after Miller leaves where he will be until Demko usurps him as the starter.

And cars being 2 seconds faster in the 1st test session.

Nhl. Com has an article out right now saying Markstrom is an extremely high end goalie prospect. And that he can still be a starting NHL goalie. But what the hell would any of those guy know anyway. They're probably penguin fans. So as you have shown is that means clueless

I agree, that's why they have now decided not to trade Markstrom because they feel he could be a late bloomer, so say goodbye to Eddie Lack this summer.
