I completely forgot he was a UFA until it was mentioned to me yesterday while I was at the game.

I think he could have value to a team looking to make a deep run. He'd be a good depth player to have. He's got some decent wheels. I'd take just about anything for him. I don't think he has a place on the team going forward. I'd take a 6th or 7th rounder. Why not?

- HonkFortheGoose

I wouldn't. Only because I think whoever replaces his spot from the AHL is better than him and that could make us better

I could see that, of course some team might really need a goalie and then a blessing happens and Neuvirth gets dealt sooner.
- GilPerreault11

I want Murray calling Ted into the office demanding he see first hand what his newly acquired goalie can do, I want an up beat speed oriented system that allows for fast paced hockey. This of course will leave our defense in a poor position to defend but I don't want my team playing to the lowest common denominator to earn a point. I would rather earn experience trying to play the way we would if we had talent. The fact we don't will come out in the W/L column, but you are here to mentor, teach hard work ethics, not WIN hockey games at all costs!

Its getting to that critical stage, we are at DEF-CON 3 , a few points away from DEF-CON 2.......TANK D&*N IT!

Not necessarily.

Though it's too bad they traded Luke Adam. He would be a perfect fit for the rest of the year.

It's a lose/lose with Neuvirth.

We keep him, negotiate an extension, he plays out his ass, and we finish 29th and team #28 wins the lottery (because that's Buffalo's luck).

We deal him. He goes somewhere else and plays out his ass and signs there, or signs somewhere else over the summer.

Looking over the free agent goalies, he's up there among the best.

Agree.

He'll never hurt you, and would slide in on anyone's 3rd or 4th line, kill penalties, play hard, etc.

I'd take the 6th or 7th, too. I think he's worth a 4th.

But there may be 10 guys out there just like him that will be on the block this week.

I feel empathetic, for BHH....So let me help shed some light.

Your company "X", is in business to MAKE $$

Company "X" knew it could make more $$ sending you away for 5 months than have you work for them for 5 months.

So, your value to your very company was to NOT have you working for them.

- MEBSabresFAN

When you finally realize that being loaned out (dishing out) for 75k and paying my salary for 5 months 12 years ago is a big thing maybe then I will take you seriously.
Go down to Lake avenue in Rochester right by Hamelin beach, with 85,000 sq. feet of stamp work.
7 different stamp patterns on the site, bridge decks with a a 12" x 12" tile pattern laid on a 45 degree angle to the curb line with various integral concrete colors and hand tossed and applied color hardeners, bus stop pads stamped with a 4" granite tile pattern, 8' wide sidewalks stamped with a herringbone brick pattern, all corners stamped with a grand ashlar slate pattern, medians stamped with a Belgian running bond brick pattern that I began laying parallel to the curb line until I showed the DOT EIC what that was going to look like and then they changed to my idea which was laying that pattern perpendicular to the curb line in the median and while in that 5 month period I did every single bit of finishing and stamping with a 4 man crew.
You can say anything you want, but honestly ,ignorantly know nothing of what you speak.
Back then there was only one guy for that job, and that was me.

I was actually surprised enroth got so many more starts than Nuevirth. I know Enroth got hot during that streak. However, heading into the season, Nuevirth was my biggest concern with the sabres not being able to finish 30th.

I am not sure if anyone else would be in the market for a goalie. Vancouver would be the one team that comes to mind. But they called up Markstorm, and now he would have to clear waivers again if he got sent down. With the way he has been playing in the AHL, he might not clear this time around.
