yet overuse of gorges, gionta, and not rotating the goalies more, Nolan seems way out of touch with today's NHL

that movie might have been the worst thing ever captured on film. The use of Hartman as a straight man should make it one of the worst all-time movies.

He doesn't fit into what Murray is building as of now, maybe that changes.

only way that changes is if we end up picking third in the draft. if we get that center that we want, not sure where grigo fits going forward. cant see murray wanting 3 scoring lines on principle, nevermind that we dont have one scoring line now. since he would have to clear waivers next year, moving him to the wing seems like a lot to ask.

Not necessarily true. It seems to be a "Murray guy" you either need to be able to skate or play big (or ideally both). Gringo isn't either of those guys.

I think it has a lot to do with Nolan sending a message that effort gets rewarded. The same applies to Gionta getting more ice time than player X. It's a message to the young guys. Is it working? Don't know. But I'm ok with the approach - for now.
