I doubt the panthers would have to include a first if they are taking Robidas and his terrible deal. On the face of this rumor it would appear it's a huge fleecing of the Panthers even tho kessel is the top player (right now) in the deal. Willing to bet this source is from TO and perhaps this was the offer pitched to Florida. If so, then their GM would do the right thing and just sit on this to see if toronto starts to sweeten it, which could happen if they think they are getting Huberdeau and a first for kessel.
Doesn't make much sense for Florida at this point imo |
