Kessel would definitely give Florida the much needed scoring threat that they are currently missing. Hubs is a good young talent, he has shown signs of being that top line winger but he has also showed signs of a young player still adapting. I think this trade would benefit both sides. I see Florida getting the best of the deal, however i still think its a trade that needs to happen for the leafs.
Next move .. JVR for a young center + pick (would love to see Strome from NYI come our way). Hopefully be able to draft the other Strome and we would be solid up the middle of the ice. |

it's the perfect fit for Kessel. i think it's a bit much to give up on Florida's end, personally, unless the pick is conditional (first if they make it, second if they miss). the value is there at present. if you're Florida though, long term, this is a risky move.
