Honestly I do not want Robidas... but if it's Kessel an Polak for Huberdeau/Bergy/another dump/1st rd pick.... I think I do it. I wouldn't want to toss in Trocheck, that is giving way too muc.=h.

Depends on what bad contract comes back posibly...it's been overblown, and I'm not "that Leafs fan"....and it IS a bad contract for his age...BUT....(hear me out)...Robidas really does offer the intangibles a young team needs. He is a grizzled, veteran leader with character - signed to too much $ and too much term, but I could see some value as a 6/7 for FLA with their young D. I don't see that deal coing together whatsoever - don't get me wrong - but assuming you could swap out another bad contract and have the right circumstances for the guy he is not completely useless on a roster.

I agree that even though "leadership" isn't quantifiable it's still invaluable under certain a circumstances. I just think the panthers already have a couple rough D contracts in Campbell and Mitchell. Just hard to think they would want to add another. Imo. Maybe in the inner circles guys like robidas are worth more.
