DSp traded to habs - Bieksa#3
source??..... should Van try to get Etem maybe?
Edit: I saw it on Twitter |

I don't Know... I like Markstrom a bit more than Lack and I thinks management does as well.... this does provide a good opportunity for Lack to up his trade value though.
Edit: i have faith that Lack will do well just don't think he stays next season - GloveHandStrong
I think this playoff hunt run is key for Lack's future not just in Vancouver but for his career. You never want to see a teammate hurt but if there was ever a time to solidify the fact he can be a legit #1 goalie in this league its now.
Marksrtom is only 2 years younger than Lack. Both have yet to prove they are #1 material. Lack is farther developed than Marksrtom. |

I see Kesler is still up to his old tricks, the French judge gave him an 8.5 - 1970vintage
There was a time when I would defend that clown for his hard work, but after watching him play to get traded his final two seasons here and act like a complete jackass, it sure would be nice to see a stick in his teeth.

Hey Turd. I should clear up that I'm fan of Lack. One of the few that thought VAN didn't need Miller.
I'd trade Bernier or Pavlec for Lack anyday. - Byfuglien Ate Me
Love him or hate him we would not be in this position without Miller. He literally has stole 5-7 games for us which is what he was brought in to do. Not sure if Lack has the mental presence for that right now but we will see.
These next 4 weeks of lack/Markstrom are gonna decide who stays and who goes at years end so if anything it should be a massive motivational tool for both goalies.
I still think Markstrom is going to surpass Lack at one point...

He's also given up as many games as he's stolen. I'm not saying he hasn't done his job, but as spectacular as he's been, he's also been pretty poopty some nights. |

I really don't think people understand how valuable Miller is. He's a damn good goalie and there is zero panic in his game which really rubs off on the rest of the team. Lack is a very lovable guy, but i don't see him as a number 1 ever, an above average backup 100%, but not a guy you can build around long-term. |

The good games out weight the bad. So lets say 10 out of the 28 games he has won he stole and 8 of the 15 games he lost were losses he screwed the pooch on.
I don't see Lack stealing 10 games for us but I do see him screwing the pooch on at least 8 of them. He seems to let in that one bad goal every game at the most inopportune time. In fact I would say 5 out of 7 losses were bad losses. Of his 6 wins 2 were maybe steal wins. |

Lack has to prove it but I think he can be a #1 in the league. I do however agree on Miller I was one of the few who wasn't condemning the signing in the beginning. |

Jiri Sekac traded for Devante Smith-Pelly tells you all the you need to know about how good Marc Bergevin is as a GM. Phenomenal deal.

I know several Habs fans are big on Jiri Sekac, a great prospect who will have a great career. But Smith-Pelly is WAY better for this team. |

Nope, it means his spot is cemented. They just traded a skill guy for a grinder. Weise is the real deal. |
