I doubt you think he would, just based on your valuation of eichel(good) mcdavid(better). Maybe he doesnt score at the exact same clip or better but i highly doubt he isnt right behind him.

I agree. Gaudreau put up 2ppg his senior season in the NCAA. Eichel is at 1.66ppg in his freshman year, and wont see a sophmore year.

Hes been arguably our best defenseman all year and hes 23. I dont think theres any islander fans upset with this deal. Term is long but I dont have an issue with the commitment after seeing what hes capable of. Now to boychuck...

Add - Sekac was undrafted. If NHL history shows us, the percentages of him turning into a star in this league are very low.

If neuvirth is not traded, nolan will ride him untill his legs fall off. Anything but a 30th place finish murray should fire him the day the season ends.
