Why not FIRE Nolan, since he plays a "Turtle Style" which best fits our talent level and gives our woeful team the best chance to win every night usually getting out shot by DOUBLE DIGITS! This isn't good hockey, its laying behind sandbags during a paintball game, sure you won't get hit very often but how pathetic!
Hire a coach who will implement an offensive, uptempo style that leaves us vulnerable.
We don't have Talent, STOP trying so hard to keep a 1 goal lead, and get those stupid OT points !

If we don't get mceichel we won't even sniff the playoffs for 3-4 years - Fattony1187
To be honest, some should realize that we are closer to losing it then we think and it's very scary. |

We would be basically giving them a proven NHL Goalie, and they could use the insurance. Their window of winning the Cup with Ovi is not going to last forever!
They already know him and he knows their system. I'm not saying they NEED him but for the cost its worth the insurance. - MEBSabresFAN
Holtby has been solid this year, one of the league-leaders in all categories. I'm not sure about their back-up, but you don't trade for a guy you traded because of the chance your starter might get injured and you want someone to know your system.
Idk, that just kind of came out of left field as a destination for him. |

Wow, I check icethetics all the time and missed that one. Its probably one of the best concepts I have seen, for any team.
But! Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Rockies are 2 separate (or...6) franchises. So I don't see the current Denver team doing it from a marketing standpoint unless its a one-off like the Stadium series. And forget about a Nordiques inspired design.
One thing though, I think they should keep black in as the third color on their uniforms. Always liked the contrast with the Maroon. - DynamicThreads
Oh for sure, but they could keep the old Avs logo, no need to rebrand it with that hybrid one. I think they would be unreal if they still used the actual team colours |

Yeah, make the pants, helmet and gloves black and put black stripes in the empty spaces. The striping on those uniforms makes it great, so no shoulder yoke isn't a flaw in this case. But I actually really like the Rockies/Avalanche logo hybrid. A lot. |

Asking price for Chris Stewart in one negotiation was a B+ prospect. No picks. Not as high as some of the speculation I've heard on him. |

We need to lose games and stop getting the loser point or we are screwed, the Oilers and Yotes are to close. Get rid of whatever is in our way of the Tank. |

Washington needs to make a good run this year, they have a legit chance to make it to the finals for the first time. Adding an insurance goalie for nothing is not a bad move. But I'm not suggesting that Washington has to have him, I just want him gone. He's trying WAY to hard for his contract and I don't want any part of being out shot 46-14 and getting garbage points!
I don't care where they send him, just get him the Heck out of here! |

89 you speak the TRUTH....its simply but so frustrating! We have 22 games left, I want 5-14-6 or worse, if I have to fire NOLAN to get a Generational Talent that will lead the Sabres for the next 10 years, DO IT! |

Maybe they are showcasing him to drive up the price slightly. Because he's been playing really good. Maybe they can squeeze a 2nd at least a 3rd out of a team for him.

That 10 game run ruined it for us. Should been playing swiss cheese. Arizona will finish 30th. Will finish no lower than 28th. Not planning on McEichel. Murray will pick Strome. He raves about him. - sippyd
No way Arizona finished last. It's us or Edmonton. Arizona needs to wins two more games and they are out of reach. |

He will probably get similar to Enroth in return. 3rd rounder ora prospect. |

It's what I've been saying. People here think it's rainbows ponies and mcdavid. I can see us finishing in 3rd last even after Arizona purges there team. Without having that stud center in mceichel we will have to force Reinhart a number #2 center to play a #1 role. We went years with #2 centers as our top guys with minimal success. not only will it take years to even make the playoffs when we make it we will be perennial mediocre to no threat teams |

They could be dumping Yandle and Vermette two of their best offensive producers at the deadline. I wouldn't sleep on their TANK hustle |

Arizona might not even win 2 games the rest of the year. They will have a worse roster than us after Monday
