No way Arizona finished last. It's us or Edmonton. Arizona needs to wins two more games and they are out of reach. - Mentalorgasm5
not getting these damn loser points, we have to lose. |

Maybe they are showcasing him to drive up the price slightly. Because he's been playing really good. Maybe they can squeeze a 2nd at least a 3rd out of a team for him. - DynamicThreads
So risk losing GENERATIONAL TALENT in order to improve a return on a UFA Goalie from a 4th to a 3rd or 3rd to a 2nd.......IT DOESN'T MATTER! LOSE LOSE LOSE |

I'm probably dreaming but Edmonton might sneak up on Minny, they've been playing lights out with massive effort for this playoff push, I HATE Edmonton! They have no excuse to be this bad, its infuriating! |

I don't care who they fire or trade at this point we need that pick more then any other damn team in the league, they will screw themselves they need to keep losing. - SABRES 89
Why they are they screwing themselves out of a perfect position at this late stage? What's wrong with them? I'll hate both TM and Nolan if that happens.

They could be dumping Yandle and Vermette two of their best offensive producers at the deadline. I wouldn't sleep on their TANK hustle - Cheeseballin
No. We have hands down the worse roster in the nhl. Even dumping Yandle, Arizona has a better rosteR. Vermette isn't anything special. 2 wins in 20 games. And as everyone has been posting, even the bad teams win a game every now and then. The Oilers ate the real threat, and they might out tank us if nuevirth is still part of this roster come Tuesday. |

That 10 game run ruined it for us. Should been playing swiss cheese. Arizona will finish 30th. Will finish no lower than 28th. Not planning on McEichel. Murray will pick Strome. He raves about him. - sippyd

Agreed, which is went nuevirth needs to get the hell out of here. The Oilers get lite up, which scares me |

If we don't finish last I will lose faith in Murray. Anyone can make that Kane trade by using the massive amount of resources that was available to him. If we end up with a strome we will have a mediocre team for the next 10 years, unless everyone is ok finishing bottom 3 for 3-4 more years and hope Matthews or some kids in 17-18 are saviors. Without mcheichel does Kane even crack 30? He will prob not resign here In a couple years either. A good owner would fire him for blundering this. He's the GM, Hackett or makarov should be in net, Benoit and mez should be on the PP and PK, hodgson getting 20 min a game. Screw nolans ideas, he's making millions, I don't care about his feelings. I'll never see that money, my only chance to get rewarded is seeing mceichel hoist the cup up over his head (hopefully in the blue and gold) |

Arizona might not even win 2 games the rest of the year. They will have a worse roster than us after Monday - Fattony1187
Like 1% chance that happens. |

I really like "HARKINS, JANSEN" Center, 6'1" 195pds
His father played 12 years, only a couple in the NHL but has his son trusting in the work ethic it takes to make it in this league. I like this kid, anybody know anything more about him. We might be able to grab him with our 2nd 1st ! |

Just read a scouting report on him. An intelligent two way forward who skates well and is reliable. Impressive in the dot and has good vision. Strong on the cycle and protects the puck well.
59 games 18g 51a this year for Prince George. One mock has him going 22nd. |

If the oilers only pick up 14 pts the rest of the way, we'd have to have a record of something like 8-10-4 for them to pass us
I can't tell which is less likely to happen |

People think it's funny and just because as of now we are the worst in the league, we keep picking up the loser point or win here and there and we are screwed. This draft will show what the future will hold for this team and we need either McDavid or Eichel. |

So he's due for a win
Frenchie's right btw. I never really thought about it but this is a helluva year for us to re-stock the defence prospect pool, especially if a few of them fall to the 2nd round. |
