Did you get a time out yesterday for posting that FB link and picture? - jochfr
No, I took it down since I felt bad for him, annoying as he is. |

Neuvirth with 40 saves. If he's on the team at this time next week we really are flirting with trouble. |

another good save by neuvirth. Shortly after a fumble that almost lead to a goal by forsberg. |

With Stewart traded. Girgensons and ennis out with injury will we score again? |

I really hate the stupid measure with your phone commercial. Do people forget you can actually measure things I person. How lazy can we get |

Arizona is way better than people here give them credit for. They routinely have 30+ shots a game and their Corsi percentage is 23rd. Their biggest problem is their goalie. If they had Neuvirth they'd be nowhere near the bottom. - Pierceme69
Oh I believe it, but the NHL knows that Phoenix is the number 1 growing city in America and has wanted them to succeed for years. Conspiracy theory sure, but from a business aspect, giving them McDavid is a smart move as there are tons of untapped fans in that area and they grow each day. Buffalo, not so much, not to mention our fan base is already established and there really isn't a lot of room for growth so not a lot of money to make there.
They may have a bad goaltender, but struggling to put up two goals a game is just junk. The same for Edmonton, if this score holds up that will be 3 goals in 3 games, unacceptable. |

They definitely have trouble scoring. It's weird because like I said, they get 30+ shots a game just about. |

30 shots from the blue line looks nice on paper, but they aren't really shots. I know that's not the case every game, but stats can be misleading at times. Just wait until the sell sell sell, they may suddenly own the longest losing streak in NHL history |

Yesterday they had 38 shots and over 50% puck possession and got shutout. Tonight they had 28 shots and only 1 goal. They definitely aren't finishing. |

They aren't even close to worse than us. If we had the goaltending they have we'd be getting beat 5-1 every night. |

I'm not doubting they don't' have the potential to be much better, but there's a reason they aren't finishing on their shots and scoring more goals; It's called tanking, something we don't seem to know how to do.
It's funny really. When we want to win we can't, when we need to lose we can't |

It's all Neuvirth. This team loses every single game since the Enroth trade with even average goaltending. |

I'm hoping his trade value has jumped, but personally I'll trade him for a bag of pucks just to get him out of net
The deadline can't come soon enough. Anyword on Girgs and Ennis. I hope they aren't seriously hurt, but if they're out fro an extended period and stewart and Neuvirth are dealt I think we might give Arizona a run for most laughable performance |

I would bet we don't see Girgs for a while. They said after his x-ray they had to wheel him back to the dressing room. |

That Zemgus goal
I said earlier in the year, every goal he scores seems like its highlight reel. |

Becoming the laughing stock of the NHL. It's hard to belive that many seem to forget that the Pens and Balckhawks tanked and got what 3-4 top 2 picks, then built around that and now have a decade of success, at least with winning seasons and a real shot at the cup each year. Now we have a shot at our crosby-esque player and we're letting it slip through our fingers after just two years of tanking.
It is frustrating. Sometimes you have to spend money to make money and last years poor season and this years is a small payment to reap the rewards that will come from it |
