Becoming the laughing stock of the NHL. It's hard to belive that many seem to forget that the Pens and Balckhawks tanked and got what 3-4 top 2 picks, then built around that and now have a decade of success, at least with winning seasons and a real shot at the cup each year. Now we have a shot at our crosby-esque player and we're letting it slip through our fingers after just two years of tanking.
It is frustrating. Sometimes you have to spend money to make money and last years poor season and this years is a small payment to reap the rewards that will come from it - bberkey1
I wasn't on-board for the tank in the first place but we were awful all year except that 10-3 run. Now we can't even tank right? Tim Murray better have a talk with someone. This is bull, we need to distance ourselves and we're closing the gap. FIRESALE EVERYONE.

The tank is deplorable, but it is what it is. If we would have had a better record 20 games ago, then I would have said the same thing, but now there's no point to win so you might as well be the best loser and get the reward for doing so. nothign worse than being bad at being bad

Nolan admits Girgensons' season could be over. "We're concerned for sure. We'll cross our fingers and hope things work out." #Sabres
For everybody that said we have to trade for a subban or gibson, thats fine, but im not giving up anything more than cody hodgson (no salary retained) and a medium sized stuffed sabre tooth teddy bear.
Waiting for the oilers to give up the usual 3rd period goal, only this time it won't result in an automatic loss, they'll have to "blow it" some other way.

It's no longer negative thinking, just calling it what it is. They seem to give up a goal right when we don't want or need them to. I'd be more than shocked if they didn't give one up between the 17:00- 19:59 mark
Well it's just theory. Miller would've likely played his homecoming but he's hurt. Lack just played and at one point Markstrom was consisted considered a highly touted prospect in the Panther organization, for that matter in the NHL period. Believe he was traded for Luongo. If I'm not mistaken he has to clear waivers now. This time up may be his last chance. Nucks will prolly wanna see him play and who better to play against than Buffalo right?

Yeah.....it is going to happen. They are terrible on defense. They can't get out of their own was when they play in their own zone. I've never seen a team have so much trouble getting the puck out of their own zone. And let's not forget the pile of trash they have in goal.
It's just waiting for it to happen at this point. Not if......it's when.
