Yes they are all young, but Bogosian, Ristolainen, Zadorov, Pysyk, & McCabe form a very good group of 5.

If you were to add one of Boychuk, Green, or Martin, you suddenly have a very good defense for next year and beyond.

Ruhwedel would be the 7th along with Weber.

Agreed but unless that prospect is legit, I would rather take the pick in what is a very strong draft, especially beyond the obvious two, and into the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

If there was a way I could sneak out a 1st round pick from a fringe playoff team, or a team that looks like a one round and done type, by adding something, I would do it for this draft depending on what that something is that would need to be added to Stewart.

Once the TDL is over, all this Zadorov bullpoop will fade into the wind like a fart from fan hour ago.

I think Uncle Tim will be shopping for another big fish in the offseason and the return would almost certainly have to include one of the young D (Risto off limits). In that even Gorges stays. He might not want to hang around anyway.

I don't follow one single letter of your logic.

Zadorov is 19. Pysyk is 23 and McCabe is 21. Defenders take a while to develop into sound NHL defensmen and Z's ceiling peaks both of them. There is zero reason to trade any 3 of them. Let alone Z. Come on.
