It is funny when I watch the post game videos of WD he really praises quite a few players. But when they bring up Kassian he always seems to be very careful of what he says about him. Never seems to over praise him, I think he is pretty happy Zack is scoring some huge goals I still get the impression he doesnt have full confidence in him just yet.

In contrast you look at Bo, taking last minute zone faceoffs, that says a lot, while he didnt do the greatest and lost he was still in there. At this point I wonder if WD will be able to coach Kass into the power forward everyone wants him to be.

What is also interesting is Kass is being very careful with how he does his interviews and tries to stay positive, I do like that about him. I havent been a huge Kassian fan, but I like the fact he hasnt given up, hasnt been negative and is trying to seize the opportunity. I am still on the fence with his defensive side and give aways, hopefully he can get a bit better with that along with his effort. It seems his effort is getting better, he needs to take a page out of Kennins or Dorsett's book for effort. At least he is moving forward and not backwards.

Just saw the replay. The fall didn't look that bad, but the way he skated off look real bad.

Doesn't really matter if it was just a "light tap" if he was in a vulnerable position. And "5 feet out from the boards" is a dangerous place to be knocking guys awkwardly into the boards. The NHL is trying to do away with that (again).

Higgins would certainly completely open up his limited NTC if he were to log in here and read all the "glowing reviews" of his play and role on this team.

I'd imagine he would be like Ryan Smyth just got traded out of EDM after only going a few days back.
