Is Kassian staying or are they planning on selling high? - manvanfan

Because Van only has maybe 1 legitimate second line forward, the rest of third liners. I'm right now penciling in Grenier and Gaunce on the 4th line next year. Big bodies. - manvanfan
If WD has a hard time liking Kassian, he'll hate Grenier. He takes shifts off defensively, doesn't like doing the dirty work along the boards or going hard to the net either. |

I don't think they'll get a good return so I'd keep him personally. But he needs to really get his poop together defensively and stop over-thinking when he's in his own zone or at center ice, make the simple play when there's nothing there. |

Really. I thought he was doing well in Utica now. Thought his game was changing for the better. I don't ever watch utica games. |

That's why COHO was good for us. Just made the simple play. In Buffalo everyone sucks. |

He's leading the rest of our first round picks in scoring in the AHL. |

Yeah it's not exactly like the PP is any good. - manvanfan
What do you expect from a rookie? He dominated the AHL offensively and has been our best dman in the offensive zone so far in my opinion. People need more patience with our rookies especially Vey and Clendenning |

IMO they'd have more patience and supporters had they originally been drafted and developed by the Canucks. Check out their AHL numbers, if a young Canuck prospect did that after being drafted we'd all be penciling them in as future top 6 forwards or top 4 d-men. |

Would you give Tanev 5 Mil per 7 yrs? |

Mackenze Stewart is having a solid year in the Dub. 9 points in 55 games, I have him as a lock for Bieksa's spot next year. Expect 25 points from him |

Sure, but this is also his second or third season and i doubt he will even beat his previous high-water mark of 39 points this year.
He floats around like a mother(frank)er. |

What a waste of a pick, Cederholm 2.0
If either of then become future AHL'ers that'll be a win. |

He is probably way down the depth chart behind McEneny and Liberati |

Personally I don't care if they get a ton of points as long as they keep the puck out of their own net. I'd win every game 1-0 if we could win every game that way haha. |

Liberati's actually been on fire lately, still not exciting but worth a look at rookie camp next year to see if he's worth signing. |

Hard to call somebody a bust when only Gillis ever had any expectations for him. I could see him being a bottom 6 player in two seasons which is pretty good for an overager. NEVER draft an over age player in the first few rounds. But yes, he has looked very mediocre |

Defensive d-men in the NHL are almost always guys who produced in junior/college. It's extremely rare, almost impossible for a low scoring junior player to become an NHL regular. NHL grinders were offensive players in junior who adjusted their games to make it. |
