Tyler Ennis suffered a lower-body injury on Tuesday night.

He logged just 10:49 of ice time in a 4-2 win over Columbus. Ennis is expected to be out for a few days, but hopefully we'll have a better idea of his status after he is re-evaluated on Wednesday.

You've got to earn your playing time. I am no fan of Nolan but Nolan has said repeatedly that they did give him more opportunities and he didn't respond. He is what he is.

Trade Neuvirth+ to Boston for Malcom Subban, and try to resign him in the off-season. Unless Nolan is willing to give Lindback - or if I were Murray I'd say put Hackett in net to see what he's got - a shot on a regular basis, Neuvirth could goaltend this entire franchise right out of the McEichel running, and into NHL mediocrity for the next several years. Everyone's talking Edmonton, but Arizona is straight garbage and currently sporting a 7 game losing streak, and neither Edmonton, or Zona's schedules get any lighter. We could very well finish 28th if Neuvirth continues playing at this level.

Losing Girgensons and Ennis, even if for a week or two, and then trading off Neuvirth could be the move to finalize a #30 finish.

I'm generally a fan of the local talk show hosts but Andrew Peters makes me want to throw a rock through my radio. These guys that were grinders in the league think the answer is to always play the grinding style of game and everything ok. Sure, once every 5 years you might score on a blind backhander from 40 feet out with no traffic in front. It certainly shouldn't be your game plan.

Haha ya. It sure seems like half his role on that show is to just throw shtuff out there : fact, fiction, opinion, total garbage non-sense... doesn't matter. I put my rock down after coming to terms with that.

I agree. This is an odd year for Cody, as much as I think he deserves to be sold for peanuts, I hope he gets another year to redeem himself.
