Myers did not make his defense partner better. Bogosian has made Benoit look like a competent top-4 D since he's been here.

Benoit and Bogosian have been dominated possession wise the same way Myers Gorges have been. Difference is we again have a hot goalie.

Also, Bogosian has taken penalties in just about every game. He's been far from mistake prone. They're has been no actual upgrade.

There has been big improvement in the corner battles, clearing of the front of the net and a huge improvement has been Bogosian's forward passes. He hits the tapes, much more accurate.

Now, I'm not going to argue, just thought I'd mention a few things. I think you are selling him short.

They're not as bad as people think. They possess the puck way more than the other bottomfeeder teams and they get around 30 SOG per game. They need to finish. Boedker should be back soon. That should help.

It's tough to judge anyone on this team, but he is still getting dominated trying to face the top competition.

Myers is already on their top pair and producing with Buff going back to winger. I think Murray might have overpaid here
